It's a pretty simple concept. Players on winning teams take home awards.

For the second time this season, the NBA recognized Kings guard De'Aaron Fox as the Western Conference Player of the Week after the point guard led his team to a 4-0 record.

During the four games, Fox averaged 36.8 points , 3.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and two steals in 37.5 minutes per game. He knocked down a shocking 64 percent from the field, 37.5 percent from 3-point range, and after struggling all season from the free-throw line, he hit 82.8 percent from the stripe.

With the four straight wins, Fox has the Kings within a game of the 10th spot in the Western Conference standings heading into play on Monday.

For the season, Fox has pushed his averages to 24.8 points, 7.3 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 34.8 minutes per game. In the month of March, he has the Kings at 8-4 and he's posting 30.5 points, 6.9 assists and 3.9 rebounds.

With the Kings' strong showing and Fox putting on an offensive show, he may be in line for Western Conference Player of the Month honors when they are announced.

Fox is the first Kings player to earn multiple player of the week awards since DeMarcus Cousins took home the award twice in the 2015-16 season. Sacramento hasn't had a Western Conference Player of the Month award winner since Chris Webber in January of 2005.
