Tyrese Haliburton's rookie year just keeps getting better and better.

He has excelled on the court, and now he gets to sport the swoosh for years to come. The young guard has signed a shoe deal with Nike, ESPN's Nick DePaula reported Monday.

Haliburton has worn rare and custom Nike shoes throughout the season. But a signature shoe isn't in store just yet.

"I ain't that nice yet, I ain't that nice yet," Haliburton said with a laugh Monday night when asked if he has his own signature shoe after the Kings' 113-106 win over the Dallas Mavericks. "Maybe one day, maybe one day.

"I'm just happy to be partnered with Nike. I've been wearing Nikes my whole life. So it's really cool for me. Kind of like a dream come true, I'm excited about it. Like I said, it's just really cool. I've been wearing them my whole life, so kind of cool they have faith in me and like me enough to make me a part of the brand."

Haliburton had another impressive performance Monday night in the Kings' win, scoring 14 points along with 10 assists and five rebounds. He now is averaging 12.8 points, 5.2 assists and 3.0 rebounds to begin his Kings campaign.

If he keeps this up, don't be surprised by Haliburton signature shoe in the near future.
