SACRAMENTO -- It’s never a dull moment at Golden 1 Center. In front of a raging sold-out crowd, the Kings pulled off another stunner.

They held the lead for most of Saturday night's game, and when it was on the line, the Kings stuck to their game plan to come away with a huge 115-108 win over the Philadelphia 76ers.

Ben Simmons hit the Kings hard early. Joel Embiid was a monster, and Jimmy Butler went off for 29 points, but it wasn’t nearly enough for the Sixers.

Here are three takeaways as the Kings picked up their sixth consecutive home win to move to 27-25 on the season.

Buddy the Bomber

Buddy Hield is off to a crazy start on the season, and he continued that against the 76ers.

The third-year shooting guard scored 15 points during a wild first quarter. He kept it going throughout the night to finish with a team-high 34 points on 12-of-21 shooting.

Hield came into the evening needing three makes from behind the arc to match his career high for most makes in a season. He got those three in the first quarter, and added another four for good measure. He now has 180 3-pointers with 30 games remaining in the season.

Feisty Fox

De’Aaron Fox went to the Kings' locker room early in the third quarter after being poked in the eye. He returned later in the quarter and looked determined.

The sophomore guard attacked the Sixers in the paint to come away with 19 points to go with eight assists and three steals.

Fox pushed the tempo, found his teammates and make an impact on both ends of the court.

Battle of the Bigs

Willie Cauley-Stein drew the extremely difficult task of trying to slow two-time All-Star Embiid. It didn’t work out so well.

Embiid pounded the Kings for 29 points on 9-of-23 shooting. He added 17 rebounds and four blocks.

Cauley-Stein battled his way to 19 points on 8-of-9 shooting to go with nine rebounds, three assists and two steals.

No one in the league has an answer for Embiid. With everything considered, Cauley-Stein did better than expected.
