The Kings entered Thursday with two second-round picks in the 2022 NBA Draft, but they ended up moving both selections.
Moments before they were scheduled to be on the clock at No. 37, the Kings traded the pick to the Dallas Mavericks for two future second-round draft picks, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported, citing sources.
Just after 10 p.m. PT, Kings general manager Monte McNair confirmed to reporters that the team has agreed to trade the No. 37 pick to the Mavericks as part of a larger deal but he was unable to confirm details of the deal.

NBA Insider Marc Stein reported, citing league sources, that the Kings will acquire second-round picks in 2024 and 2028.
The Kings made the selection for the Mavericks at No. 37, drafting G League Ignite shooting guard Jalen Hardy.
Unless the Kings buy back into the second round, Iowa forward Keegan Murray will be their only draft pick. Sacramento took Murray over Jaden Ivey at No. 4.
