AP’s Tom Withers reported that the Kings received $1.75 million from the Cavaliers along with Vezenkov’s rights.
The 49th overall selection was slated to be Sacramento’s third pick in the draft. They now will pick at No. 4 and No. 37 after the trade.
Vezenkov, 26, was drafted 57th overall by the Brooklyn Nets in the 2017 NBA Draft. The 6-foot-9, 225-pound forward was acquired by the Cavaliers on Jan. 14, 2021, from Brooklyn as part of a three-team trade that brought Jarrett Allen to Cleveland.
