Tyrese Haliburton is going to need a trophy room.
The Kings’ 21-year-old guard picked up his second Western Conference Rookie of the Month award on Tuesday after taking home the award for December/January.
Haliburton has missed the last two games with calf soreness, but he put on a show in February, averaging 16.2 points, 5.3 assists and 3.8 rebounds in 32 minutes per game for Sacramento.

In 13 games in February, including one start, Haliburton shot 51.3 percent from the field and 45 percent from behind the arc. Despite the Kings’ rough month in the standings, the former Iowa State star is a breath of fresh air and only seems to be getting better as the season goes on.
LaMelo Ball, Haliburton’s main competition for the NBA’s Rookie of the Year honor, also picked up his second straight Eastern Conference Rookie of the Year award.

While Ball’s raw numbers are better than Haliburton’s, the Kings’ rookie is shooting better from the field and 3-point range and boasts an incredible 5.3-to-1.5 assist-to-turnover ratio.
