SACRAMENTO -- Looking to snap a two-game skid, the Sacramento Kings host a banged up Memphis Grizzlies team Friday evening at Golden 1 Center.

The Kings got a big boost when the injury report dropped Friday afternoon. Iman Shumpert (bruised hip) and Bogdan Bogdanovic (sore foot) were cleared for duty after missing Wednesday's loss to the Thunder.

After a strong start to the season, the schedule has become a factor for the Kings. This is the fourth game in six nights for Sacramento, which includes a solid slate of tough Western Conference opponents.

Memphis has a long list of injuries and illnesses to report. They are coming off a road loss in Portland and have dropped four straight coming into Friday's game.

Kings Pregame Live on NBC Sports California begins at 6:30 p.m., with tipoff scheduled for 7. All coverage can be seen on the MyTeams app.

Sacramento finish their homestand Sunday against the Pelicans before venturing back out on the road. They'll hop on a flight to Los Angeles on Christmas Eve and take on the Clippers on the 26th.

Rotation Outlook

Kings: The Kings' injury report brought good news for Sacramento. With the return of both Bogdanovic and Shumpert, coach Dave Joerger gets the leader of his second unit and his best perimeter defender back in the fold. He'll need both to play well as the Kings try to snap out of a mini-funk.

Marvin Bagley III is still out with a bone bruise in his left knee, but he was able to ditch his crutch and was moving much better following shootaround Friday morning. He's still at least a week away from a return, but he's making progress.

On assignment with the Stockton Kings, rookie Harry Giles posted 20 points and 10 rebounds in the team's win over the Delaware Blue Coats Thursday at the G League Showcase.

Grizzlies: After a great start to the season, Memphis has fallen on hard times. They sit at 16-15 on the season, but they've dropped four straight and six of their last seven. They've failed to break the 100-point mark in seven consecutive games and have only held their opponent under that mark twice over the same stretch.

The Grizzlies are a veteran team that plays at the league's slowest pace. The winner of Friday's game will likely come down to who controls the tempo.
