BOX SCORE

Lakers head coach, and former Warriors assistant, Luke Walton, saw his night come to a quick end Monday night in Sacramento.

With 4:14 left in the first quarter, Walton was ejected for the first time as a head coach after screaming several obscenities at the referees. Seconds before, former Kentucky Wildcats DeMarcus Cousins and Julius Randle were tangled up and both thrown to the ground before Darren Collison finished the Kings' possession with a 3-pointer.

It appeared Randle tried to throw his right arm up in the air, but Cousins wrapped his own right arm around Randle's waist, bringing the two to the ground. No foul was called.

After Collison drained a corner 3, an irate Walton came off the bench and was letting the referees know exactly how he felt. Walton was hit with two technical fouls, ejecting him from the game, and Randle also received a technical foul.

With the three technical fouls, Rudy Gay downed all three free throws, tying the game at 17 points apiece.

Lakers assistant coach Brian Shaw took over head-coaching duties with Walton gone from the game.
