Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James won't play against the Kings at Golden 1 Center on Tuesday night after he entered the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocol, the team announced.
ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported, citing sources, that LeBron will miss several games while in protocol.

LeBron played nearly 50 minutes in the Lakers' triple overtime loss to the Kings on Friday night at Staples Center in Los Angeles. He finished with 30 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds.
While the Lakers are 11-11 entering Tuesday's game, the Kings are 8-13 and are looking to find their footing under interim head coach Alvin Gentry, who took over after Luke Walton was fired on Nov. 21. Sacramento is coming off a bad road loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday, so they will want to bounce back against the Lakers.
LeBron already has missed 11 of the Lakers' 22 games. He dealt with an abdominal strain earlier in November that kept him out of eight games. The good news for Los Angeles is that they still have two All-Stars in Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook to rely on.
