With the No. 12 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, the Kings selected guard Tyrese Haliburton out of Iowa State on Wednesday night.
Haliburton was expected to be a top-five pick by many pundits, but he surprisingly fell to Sacramento at No. 12.
The former Cyclone is a dynamic point guard with a tremendous ability to shoot from outside, making over 41 percent of his threes in each of his two collegiate seasons.

De’Aaron Fox clearly is Sacramento’s starting point guard, but Haliburton likely will begin his career as the captain of the Kings’ second unit.
