NBA rescinds two of Cousins' technical fouls

DeMarcus Cousins and the Kings got a little bit of good news Wednesday.

Upon review, the NBA has rescinded two of his technical fouls this season, lowering his season-total to eight.

The technical fouls in question occured on Nov. 27 against Brooklyn and Dec. 12 against the Los Angeles Lakers.

The news comes a day after Cousins was assessed a technical foul in the first half against Portland on Tuesday night, and was originally given a second technical foul in the final minute. Thinking he had been ejected, Cousins ran to the Kings locker room. Moments later, officials determined that Cousins had not thrown his mouthpiece at the Blazers' bench and reversed the techincal foul call. Cousins was summoned from the locker room and allowed to finish the game.

Cousins' new total of eight still leads the NBA this season. Russell Westbrook and John Wall each have seven.
