Milwaukee, we have a problem.
According to Sam Amick of The Athletic, the trade that would send Kings shooting guard Bogdan Bogdanovic and Justin James to the Milwaukee Bucks for Donte DiVincenzo, D.J. Wilson and Ersan Ilyasova, has hit a snag.

We still are waiting for the details to shake out, but according to Amick, the trade is in jeopardy due to Bogdanovic not agreeing to a contract with the Bucks.
As this story continues to develop, it only gets more confusing. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, who broke the original trade story on Monday night, Bogdanovic will enter the free agent pool on Friday when the league's moratorium is lifted.
In additional tweet, Wojnarowski added this tidbit: "The Kings and Milwaukee Bucks had hoped to bring Bogdanovic the framework of a sign-and-trade to negotiate a Bogdanovic contract with Milwaukee on Friday, but he will move into the marketplace to find an offer sheet or seek out other sign-and-trade scenarios."
There may be some finger pointing in the fallout from this botched transaction, but who is at fault is anyone's guess.
NBA
Clearly there was a communication breakdown, but the fact that Bogdanovic is still willing to work on a potential sign-and-trade is good news for the Kings. He's a strong asset and there is always a chance for reconciliation and a return to Sacramento for the 28-year-old.
This isn't exactly the distraction the Kings or Bucks were hoping for hours before the start of the NBA Draft, but if 2020 has taught us anything, life comes at you fast, even for NBA franchises.
