Pelicans fire back at Kings after social media trolling

NBC Sports

Life comes at you fast.

The Kings' digital team took a shot at the New Orleans Pelicans Monday morning after Sacramento won a coin flip for the No. 12 overall pick in the upcoming NBA Draft Lottery on Thursday.

After also beating New Orleans twice in the bubble for two of their three wins in the NBA restart, the Kings took a shot on social media with a "Pelicans fans after going 0-3 against the Kings in August" line.

The Pelicans' digital team didn't waste much time firing back at Sacramento and the dig was deep, referencing the Kings' extended playoff drought.

It's all in good fun, unless you are the fans of either team. Then it's a particularly cruel set of facts being bandied about by the franchises in question.
