Following the Kings' 133-111 win over the Mavericks on Sunday night, Seth Curry had some media responsibilities.

Before sideline reporter Kayte Christensen could finish her first question, Kings big man DeMarcus Cousins intervened.

"You gon' be in this league a long time, boy, remember that," Cousins declared. "A long time."

Curry and Christensen laughed for a moment and then continued the conversation.

A few hours later, Steph Curry sent out the following tweet:

Seth made his first career NBA start on Friday against Phoenix and responded with 12 points and four rebounds.

He started again against Dallas and registered 14 points and three assists.

Over the Kings' first 71 games, Curry made just 33 appearances.

Last July, Curry signed a two-year, $2 million deal that includes a $1 million player option for next season.
