Tolliver, Kings take exhibition tilt over Lakers in Vegas

The Kings on Thursday night won an exhibition contest against the Lakers at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, 116-104. 

Forward Anthony Tolliver, who signed a two-year deal with Sacramento this offseason, led the way with a team-high 21 points. 

He also finished with four assists, one block and six boards. 

Darren Collison and Rudy Gay followed Tolliver up with 20 points and 19 points, respectively. 

Another newcomer, Arron Afflalo, who played with the Knicks last season, finished with 16 points, one assist and four rebounds. 

Second-year big Willie Cauley-Stein also contributed 12 points, while Jordan Farmar scored 14 to round out the double-digit scorers for the Kings.

Rookie Skal Labissiere, who got the start Thursday, scored two points in 12:30 on the floor. 

The team shot 58.7% from the floor and 61.9% from long range. DeMarcus Cousins, Omri Casspi, Matt Barnes, Ty Lawson and Garrett Temple did not play. 

Lakers guard D'Angelo Russell led the night with a big double-double, consisting of 31 points and 11 assists. 

The Kings open the 2016-17 regular season against the Suns on Wednesday, October 26.
