Damion Lee, Golden State Warriors, meet Tyrese Haliburton.
The Kings' rookie point guard has been putting the NBA on notice throughout his first year in his league, and Lee was the latest victim in Thursday's contest between the Kings and Warriors.
See for yourself.
With less than a minute remaining in the third quarter, Haliburton crossed up Lee, hit a contested 3-pointer over Lee's outstretched arm and got the foul call for a four-point play, igniting chaos from his fellow teammates on the bench.
The No. 12 overall draft pick was electric Thursday. Midway through the fourth quarter, Haliburton had already racked up a career-high six 3-pointers and had scored 20 or more points for the seventh time this season.
The Warriors might have some star rookies rising on their own roster, but Haliburton is quickly proving he too can hang on the hardwood. Lee and the Warriors just found that out the hard way.
