Watch Kings get game-winning shot attempt stuck on hoop at worst time

There are bad beats, and then there's getting a last-second shot stuck between the rim and the backboard.

With seconds remaining and the Kings down 117-116 to the Warriors, Hield threw a runner high off the glass. His shot bounced off the backboard, but rookie big man Marvin Bagley III was there for the putback.

Well, until the rim denied him, and thus sealed the Warriors' win.

Yes, Bagley's shot was stuck at the worst possible moment. With 2.1 minutes remaining, the Kings' last shot at the lead forced a jump ball.

Kevin Durant knocked the ensuing tip far down the court, and the Kings had all of 0.3 seconds to try to take the lead. Iman Shumpert's inbounds pass tipped helplessly off of Warriors center Damian Jones' hands, and the Kings took the 'L.'

The Kings held a one-point lead moments before Bagley's putback got stuck. De'Aaron Fox sunk two free throws for a 116-115 lead with 26 seconds remaining, but Klay Thompson's putback on the ensuing possession took it right back.

Bagley may not want to buy a lottery ticket anytime soon.
