Derek Carr on Wednesday made the NFL Top 100 on NFL Network, kicking off the list at No. 100.

He was kept off the list in 2014 as a rookie.

The Raiders quarterback, who led the Raiders to seven wins in 2015 and made the Pro Bowl, received rave reviews from around the league.

"I worked out with this guy when he was a kid. Now to see the man that he is today, that's kind of awesome for me to see," Tramon Williams said on NFL Network.

"I've told many guys that I played with one of the best in the league in Aaron Rodgers, and (Carr) has similar tools to him," Williams added. "He can move in the pocket and he has a lot of zip on the ball. He has a quick, quick release."

The praise didn't stop with Williams - it extended to the Oakland roster and even to competitors within the division.

"I tip my hat off to the young man. I can't even say he's grown because he came into this game understanding how to play the position. I think he's going to be an elite quarterback over the years," said AFC West rival Corey Liuget of the San Diego Chargers.

"I'll tell ya what, I like Derek Carr," Super Bowl champion pass rusher Von Miller said. "He's one of my favorite quarterbacks, and I like everything about him.

"He came in for the Raiders and they were super terrible," Miller added. "And he really carried his team, and I applaud him for that."

Steelers linebacker Arthur Moats revealed what he liked about Carr: "His decision-making, his decisiveness. Escapability, how he's able to create."

Fresno State teammate and current Packers receiver Davante Adams said on Twitter, "Congrats to my brother (Derek Carr) making that #NFLTop100 !!! I think u better than 100 but we'll take it! Lmao."

Carr's Raider teammates chimed in, as well.

"I love watching him succeed. I love watching him fail. Because that makes him work that much harder," Raiders offensive lineman Donald Penn said.

"Derek Carr is a competitor, the ultimate competitor," receiver Michael Crabtree added, who tied a career-best with nine touchdowns in 2015. "The chemistry man, can't beat it. He's my quarterback."

Carr, who caught wind of making the list, responded to being named to the Top 100.

"Thank you to everyone that voted 4 me! It means a lot to me coming from teammates and opp players. Now that we have made it time to climb it," Carr said Wednesday on Twitter.
