CC Sabathia is no stranger to the sports world. Yes, he's won a Cy Young Award, and he's a World Series champion, a six-time All-Star and has almost two decades pitching in the bigs. But he's also a huge football fan -- particularly a fan of the Raiders.
Sabathia was born in Vallejo and attended Vallejo High School, where he was picked by the Cleveland Indians in the first round of the 1998 MLB Draft.
Recently, on NFL Network's Good Morning Football, the 38-year-old stopped by to talk about his beloved Raiders and the season they've had.

"It's sad," Sabathia said. "It's been rough, man. As a fan, it's been real tough."

The Yankees left-hander admitted he has stopped watching the Raiders this season. And with a 2-10 record, who can really blame him?
Sabathia also offered his thoughts on what the organization should do (i.e. rebuild, trade Derek Carr, etc.) Still, a recent trip to Las Vegas had him excited seeing the Raiders being represented in a city that soon will host the team.

"It sucks as a fan because I'm from the Bay Area and we are losing the team," Sabathia said. "And as an athlete, I know what that Coliseum is like, and it's disgusting in there."
In addition to watching the team as a fan, Sabathia has played in 17 games at the Coliseum. In 102 innings pitched (446 batters faced), he boasts a 5.38 ERA.
It appears he doesn't like the Coliseum for more than one reason.
