More progress is getting made on the Raiders' new digs in Las Vegas.
Allegiant Stadium recently had the scaffolding removed on the 65,000-seat, $2 billion future home of the Silver and Black. And it’s beginning to look reallllllly good at night:

Pretty fleek, right?
It’s blending in perfectly with the Las Vegas skyline as the flyover showed.
A few fans compared the stadium to a Roomba (yikes). But that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The world’s largest vacuum could be a tourist attraction, right?
Maybe, maybe not. We could just concentrate on it being compared to that of a Death Star. That’s cooler.

For the moment, the first scheduled home preseason game is set for Aug. 27 as the Raiders host the Arizona Cardinals. That looks to be the date for the stadium to open its doors officially to NFL fans.
That, of course, depends on the sports world and the recent halt due to the coronavirus pandemic.
