Clive Walford attended high school at Glades Central in Belle Glade, Florida. Yahoo! Rivals ranked him as a three-star recruit and he earned All-Palm Beach County honors in his senior season.
Walford committed to be a Miami Hurricane and started eight games in his first season after redshirting. He ended the year with 18 catches for 172 yards. In his sophomore season, he caught 25 passes for 451 yards and a team-high four receiving touchdowns. He caught a pass in all 12 games he played in.
In Walford's junior year, he eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark for his career in receiving. He ended his third season with 34 receptions for 454 yards and two touchdowns. Walford set career-highs in receptions (44), yards (676) and touchdowns (7) in his senior season.
Getting the call
With the 68th pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, the Raiders drafted Clive Walford. He was Oakland's third selection after Alabama wide receiver Amari Cooper and Florida State defensive lineman Mario Edwards.
