It appears the stadium that will be the new home of the Las Vegas Raiders officially has been named.
The 2020 Raiders will open up their inaugural season at Allegiant Stadium.

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, one of the final steel beams of the project was placed to construct the arena which marks the "completion of the highest point of the $1.9 billion, 65,000-seat indoor stadium."
Las Vegas-based Allegiant Travel Co. had been speculated to be the name sponsor since May when the company wanted a trademark on "Allegiant Stadium" with the U.S. Patent and Trademark office. The specific terms were not made public, but experts that spoke with the Review-Journal speculated similar deals say Allegiant is "likely paying between $20-$25 million in cash and in-kind services a year to put its name on the building."
And it also appears that construction is well on schedule.
Don Webb, CEO of the Raiders subsidiary building the stadium, mentioned he was hopeful that all of the framework would be completed by July 31. The Review-Journal reported the final truss was put into place Thursday afternoon.

The team is getting prepared for the move as well.
Quarterback Derek Carr currently is in the process of constructing a home of his own -- and it's right next door to Raiders head coach Jon Gruden in Vegas.
Those, for now, do not possess names.
