NFL Draft 2020: Raiders pick Lynn Bowden at No. 80 to bolster offense

After sitting out the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Raiders had three picks in the third round, and they used their first one on Kentucky wide receiver Lynn Bowden Jr.

Bowden also has experience at running back and quarterback, making him a valuable threat for coach Jon Gruden.

The Raiders also held the No. 81 pick and drafted another wide receiver, taking South Carolina's Bryan Edwards.

Las Vegas now has taken three wide receivers with their four picks, including Alabama's Henry Ruggs, who went No. 12 overall Thursday.

Bowden's multi-dimensional skills were on display last season, as he caught 30 passes for 348 yards, rushed 185 times for 1,468 yards, and completed 35 of 74 passes for 403 yards and three touchdowns. He also has the ability to return kickoffs and punts.

It will be interesting to see how Gruden and the Raiders deploy Bowden Jr.
