The Raiders, according to NFL Media’s Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport, are finalizing a trade sending center Rodney Hudson to the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for a draft-pick swap.
The Cardinals reportedly will send a third rounder to the Raiders in exchange for Hudson and a seventh rounder.

In a surprising move, the Raiders reportedly were set to release the three-time Pro-Bowl center on Tuesday, but it appeared the team saw Hudson’s value and opted out for a trade.
This also adds to some head-scratching moves Raiders general manager Mike Mayock is making. He essentially stripped most of the offensive line, reportedly releasing guard Gabe Jackson and trading Trent Brown.
But the Raiders did shore up a few holes Wednesday, as Richie Incognito and Denzelle Good both came back to the team.
This move definitely works in the Cardinals’ favor, as Hudson is a significant upgrade for Arizona at the center position and gives Kyler Murray some needed help on the offensive line.
