Raiders GM Mike Mayock roasted by Michael Thomas for Antonio Brown drama

Great athletes never forget a slight.

In the wake of the latest Antonio Brown drama, Saints All-Pro wide receiver Michael Thomas decided Thursday was the perfect time to dig up an old take and fire it at Raiders general manager Mike Mayock.

Thomas is referring to Mayock's days as an NFL Network draft analyst. In 2016, Mayock ranked the top five players at each position and had Thomas tied with Sterling Shepard for the fifth best receiver in the draft class.

The players ahead of Thomas (and Shepard) were Laquon Treadwell (waived by Vikings), Corey Coleman (been with four teams), Josh Doctson (released by Washington) and Will Fuller (dealt with injuries).

Meanwhile, in three seasons with New Orleans, Thomas has caught 321 passes for 3,787 yards and 23 touchdowns, and is in the discussion as the best wide receiver in the NFL.

Early Thursday, reporters surfaced that Brown attempted to punch Mayock in a Wednesday altercation stemming from the Raiders fining the receiver for missing practices.

It's clear by his tweet that Thomas is on Brown's side of this dispute, even if it appears to be the wrong side to take.
