Raiders inactives: Rodney Hudson, Keelan Doss won't play vs. Lions

OAKLAND -- After a long road odyssey that took them from Minnesota to Houston, with stops in Indianapolis, London and Green Bay in between, the Raiders finally are back at the Coliseum for a Week 9 matchup Sunday with the Lions.

At 3-4, the Raiders survived their road trip and still have a chance to make a run at the playoffs, but a win against the Lions is crucial.

As the second half of their season begins, the Raiders will be without center Rodney Hudson who injured his ankle and had to be carted off during Oakland's Week 8 loss to the Texans. Backup center Andre James was limited all week in practice, but he will be able to go Sunday at the Coliseum. If James gets banged up, left guard Richie Incognito will take over center duties for the Raiders.

Linebacker Brandon Marshall, who the Raiders re-signed this week, also will be inactive against the Lions. Rookie wide receiver Keelan Doss will be a healthy scratch for the second straight week.

For the Lions, star cornerback Darius Slay Jr. was questionable all week but he is active, as are defensive tackles Damon "Snacks" Harrison and A'Shawn Robinson.
