The first season of Jon Gruden's second reign in Oakland didn't go as the Raiders hoped.

The Raiders struggled on both sides of the ball in 2018, finishing the season with a disappointing 4-12 record.

But with each new year, hope springs eternal, and there's certainly reason to be optimistic about the Silver and Black in 2019.

The Raiders opened the offseason by trading for star wide receiver Antonio Brown, and also added Tyrell Williams to help make the passing attack that much more lethal.

On Wednesday, the NFL released the schedule for the 2019 season, and the Raiders will open the new campaign at home against the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football on Sept. 9.

Along with their opening game on MNF, Gruden's club will be on Thursday Night Football in Week 10 when they face the Los Angeles Chargers at the Coliseum.

Additionally, get your tickets now for the final regular-season game in Oakland on Dec. 15 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
