The Raiders signed veteran NFL long snapper Thomas Gafford on Tuesday afternoon to replace Jon Condo.

Condo dislocated his shoulder recovering a muffed punt in Sunday's victory over the Denver Broncos.

He won't recover before the regular season ends, meaning he's headed for injured reserve. And his streak of consecutive games played will end at 141.

Gafford has plenty of NFL experience, playing 116 NFL games over eight seasons.

He played with the Kansas City Chiefs from 2008 to 2014 and played most of this season with the Chicago Bears before he was released in late November.

Condo remains under contract through 2016 and is expected to return to the team next season.

Condo was unavailable at an inopportune time against Denver, getting his shoulder popped back in while he Raiders had to go for two points when an extra point would've made more sense.

Condo returned for two snaps later in the game, but Monday tests concluded he wouldn't be able to carry on his season.

Additionally, the Raiders signed wideout Larry Pinkard to the practice squad.
