Raiders Super Bowl odds: Vegas gives Oakland long-shot chance at title

The Raiders' roster had quite the makeover during the offseason, adding nine players to positions that were starving for talent in last week's NFL draft. They also traded for star receiver Antonio Brown and added offensive lineman Trent Brown and wideout Tyrell Williams in free agency back in March.

And while the team looks "deeper and younger on paper," as NBC Sports California's Scott Bair says, it appears they aren't being viewed as a Super Bowl-bound team -- at least for the time being.

ESPN recently released Super Bowl and playoff odds for all 32 NFL teams, courtesy of the Westgate Sportsbook in Las Vegas.

The Raiders are given 80-1 odds for a Super Bowl win and 40-1 odds to take AFC West division. In addition, the team's odds are at +700 (yes) and -1,100 (no) to make the playoffs and their over/under win total is 6.

No respect, I guess.

In the least bit of shocking news, the Patriots have 6-1 odds to win the Super Bowl with 3-1 odds they take the AFC. And apparently, there is a lot of faith in the Browns and QB Baker Mayfield. Cleveland has 16-1 odds to win the big game, which are the best odds in the AFC North.

What a world we are now living in. What a difference a year makes.
