The Raiders' time in Oakland appears to be coming to an end.

With the possible last game ever being played at the Coliseum coming up, where will the Silver and Black end up playing?

Here are some ideas -- not all of them are possible, some are even silly to think about. But at this point, why not?

This is a legitimate rumor flying around.

Reno, Nev. has been a possible location destination for the Raiders to land. Specifically, playing at Mackay Stadium located in the heart of downtown Reno.

The idea is a great one -- to move to a city that could use a professional team to cheer for, on top of the fact that there are quite a few Raiders fans already inhabiting The Biggest Little City. But at first glance, it seems like a lot of work.

Where the stadium is located is right in the middle of everything, and there isn't a lot of room surrounding it. It's surrounded by the baseball field, newly constructed living quarters, and it's also too close to entertainment and the downtown scene that building anything additional seems almost impossible.

OK, before you come at me in my Twitter mentions ...

The Raiders have been playing on a baseball already for years, so this isn't exactly foreign territory for them. Currently, a soccer team is using Cashman Field, since the Triple-A affiliate of the A's is getting another field.

This will not happen, but it's nice to know there is more than one option in Vegas.

When George Strait performed in June of 2013, the Alamodome hosted 73,086 people. Unless Strait plans on being a wide receiver for the Raiders, don't expect the attendance to hit that capacity.

Yes, San Antonio is about 1,200 miles away from Vegas, but it's quite a beautiful location.

Currently, the Alamodome hosts a bunch of events including a few bowl games, Monster Jam and of course, some concerts. The idea to host the Raiders with this amount of space isn't the craziest idea they've had. Remember, I just pitched a former Minor League stadium.

Location. Location. Location.

Sure, it's located not too far away from Oakland so the fanbase could stay the same. But am I the only one who is a bit freaked out that this is located on a fault line? I know they spent a ton of money to make sure nothing bad happens, but that's scary, no?

Stanford Stadium has the right atmosphere to host a professional football team. It certainly possesses enough seats, and it's not completely out of the way -- especially compared to the spots of Reno or even San Antonio.

Plus, the area is familiar with Bay Area sports, right? And that's what we ultimately want in a fan base. There is plenty of space -- it's a bit unsure how the crowd would react, however. It's mostly a college town so changing that demographic could be interesting.

Avaya Stadium holds a Guinness World Record for the largest participatory groundbreaking ceremony when 6,256 fans dug for two-straight minutes back in October of 2012. That's when the beginning of the venue was built.

Since then, the stadium has hosted the Earthquakes, the Bay Area professional soccer team.

This area has more than plenty of room -- and it appears there is a lot of parking lots to hold the fans -- and we all know that's a major issue when trying to host a team.

The Raiders fans are known to put on a great tailgate so this is important information.

The weird part about this is this might happen. Well, it's at least a possibility after initial interest has been expressed.

For one, like previously mentioned, the team is used to playing on a baseball field.

Secondly, it's not far at all from Oakland -- just a bridge away.

But ... there are still a lot of details that need to be ironed out. At the moment, there is plenty of seating, concessions and everything else you can possibly need. Plus a new state-of-the-art scoreboard.

If it were up to me.

The easiest explanation we could give would be to have both the 49ers and Raiders alternate home and road games. The location is ideal besides hardcore Raiders fans being used to The Coliseum in closer proximity, but at the moment, this may be the best option.
