Keelan Doss has a new home.

After the Raiders cut the wide receiver Saturday, the Alameda native cleared waivers but still had interest from teams around the NFL. A source told NBC Sports California's Scott Bair that Doss signed with the Jaguars' practice squad Sunday.

The Raiders wanted the former UC Davis star to return to the Silver and Black to develop him on the practice squad, but Doss chose to go a different route.

Doss caught 17 passes for 162 yards and scored a touchdown in four preseason games with the Raiders. He also became a star on HBO's "Hard Knocks" as an undrafted local player looking to make the team.

The 23-year-old called "Hard Knocks" an experience where he could showcase his talents. Clearly, the Jaguars liked what they saw.
