Texans DB calls out Antonio Brown after petty JuJu Smith-Schuster tweet

Antonio Brown's social media war with JuJu Smith-Schuster is making him some enemies in the NFL, and not just in Pittsburgh.

After the Raiders star took a shot at his former teammate Sunday on Twitter, Houston Texans second-year defensive back Justin Reid chimed in, saying he "can't wait to smash" Brown when the Texans and Raiders play this season.

Rams safety Eric Weddle also chirped Brown for the unnecessary shot at Smith-Schuster.

Brown ripped Smith-Schuster over a late-game fumble in Week 16 against the New Orleans Saints that cost the Steelers a chance to win the game and knocked them out of the driver's seat in the AFC North.

It appeared evident last season that Brown was frustrated with Smith-Schuster and the number of balls that were going his way instead of Brown's. The competitive friction between Brown and Smith-Schuster likely was one of the reasons the All-Pro receiver forced his way out of Pittsburgh, wanting to be unquestioned No. 1 receiver somewhere else.

While the 30-year-old undoubtedly was still the guy with the Steelers, the emergence of Smith-Schuster made it easier for Pittsburgh to stomach shipping the wide receiver out of town.  The USC product put together a great second season in the NFL, catching 111 passes for 1,426 yards and seven touchdowns while becoming a favored target of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

After being traded to the Raiders, Brown will look to put up the same gaudy numbers for the Silver and Black that he did in Pittsburgh. But he'll have to do so facing even more attention from guys like Reid, who are looking to punish him for his social media transgressions.
