Kane gets first AHL goal, three assists in Barracuda rout

In his third career AHL game on Wednesday, Evander Kane broke out and filled up the stat sheet for the Barracuda.

Kane had his first career goal in the league and also racked up three assists as the Barracuda rolled the Colorado Eagles 10-5.

Kane now has played three AHL games with the Barracuda since his 21-game suspension from the NHL for COVID-19 health and protcol violations. Kane had just one assist over his first two games.

So far Kane seems to have had a positive impact in the Barracuda locker room, and looks to be enjoying getting back on the ice.

Teammate Ryan Merkeley spoke after the win about how much he has appreciated having Kane on the Barracuda.

The Sharks made it clear there was no timeline on when Kane potentially could return to the NHL roster, but the veteran seems to at least be shaking off the rust after missing the first chunk of the season.
