The injuries are starting to mount for the San Jose Sharks.
Mario Ferraro has been placed on Injured Reserve, per Sharks PR.

Ferraro did not practice Saturday, along with Erik Karlsson, Alexander Barabanov, Jonah Gadjovich and James Reimer.
Karlsson and Barabanov were maintenance days, head coach David Quinn said. Reimer will miss Sunday night’s contest against the Vancouver Canucks but is expected to be available to travel on the Sharks’ upcoming road trip.
Quinn, however, wasn’t as sure about Ferraro’s status when I spoke with him at about 1 p.m. PT.
“Mario’s not a maintenance day,” Quinn told San Jose Hockey Hockey Now. “He couldn’t practice today.”

At the time, however, Quinn was still trying to get the full report on Ferraro. It must have been bad news, as Ferraro’s placement on IR, retroactive to Friday's 5-2 loss to the Los Angeles Kings, means that he’ll miss at least a week of action.
