Sharks free agency tracker: Following all of San Jose's moves

James Reimer

NHL free agency frenzy kicked off Wednesday and the Sharks were right in the thick of the opening frenzy.

We will update this tracker with all of the free agency information as it pertains to the Sharks.

After ending the Martin Jones era on Tuesday, the Sharks signed goalie James Reimer who played in San Jose in 2016 and previously played for coach Bob Boughner.

The Sharks reportedly added to their forward depth with veterans Nick Bonino and Andrew Cogliano.

It didn't take Martin Jones long to find a home as the former Sharks goalie reportedly agreed to a deal with the Philadelphia Flyers.

The Sharks also acquired forward Lane Pederson from the Arizona Coyotes in exchange for a 2024 fourth-round draft pick.

Sharks GM Doug Wilson and Co. hope that these reinforcements help San Jose end their two-year playoff drought when the 2021-22 season begins this fall.
