This season, Sorensen has already registered 15 points (eight goals, seven assists) through 47 games. Sorensen has spent the majority of the season playing alongside Joe Thornton, and has found a lot of success on the veteran’s wing. The Swede registered his first NHL career multi-point game playing with Thornton in San Jose’s 4-3 win over the Minnesota Wild on Nov. 16.
