The Sharks' next two "home" games in Arizona have been postponed due to COVID-19 protocols, the NHL announced on Friday.

Vegas previously had postponed Thursday's game against the St. Louis Blues as part of the NHL's COVID-19 health and safety protocols. According to the NHL's release, four members of the Golden Knights, including three coaches are being isolated in connection with the league's protocols.

The NHL also had announced Thursday that Vegas has closed its training facilities "until further notice."

These would be the first two postponed games of the season for the Sharks, as the team stands 3-5-0 overall in the 2021 NHL season.

With California's decision to lift the regional stay-at-home order earlier this week, the Sharks announced the team would be returning to play home games in San Jose beginning with the Feb. 13 game against the Anaheim Ducks.

The Sharks now will fly back to San Jose on Saturday, as the team's next four games before that Feb. 13 date are on the road, The Bay Area News Group's Curtis Pashelka reported Friday.

It remains unclear when the two postponed games will be rescheduled.
