The Sharks have avoided elimination once so far. They'll have to do it again Sunday when they face the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 6 of their best-of-seven Stanley Cup playoff first-round series.
San Jose lived to fight another day after defeating Vegas 5-2 at home in Game 5 on Thursday, and now trails three games to two heading into this must-win contest. Goaltender Martin Jones is coming off his best performance of the series thus far, and he'll be in between the pipes again for Game 6.
The Sharks' season would end with a loss. A victory, however, would force a winner-take-all Game 7 back in San Jose on Tuesday.
