SAP Center will host a Sharks and Leafs matchup Thursday night as Team Teal continues its six-game homestand.
The showdown could be interesting with John Tavares coming to town. Tavares was a big name on the Sharks' watch list during the offseason, but ultimately decided to sign with Toronto. This will be the first time since he decided to sign with Toronto that the Ontario native will be in action against the Sharks. For now, however, they know he's ninth in the league in goals (11) and ninth in points (22).
Tavares will not be the only familiar name going up against the Sharks. Patrick Marleau will be in the house. Marleau, of course, spent 19 seasons with the Sharks where he earned three All-Star selections. The 39-year-old now plays for the Leafs.

Marleau and Tavares will go up against San Jose who is in the midst of a two-game winning streak.
