Watch the Sharks' goals vs. Islanders on ‘Los Tiburones Night' in Spanish

"Timo Time" was "Tiempo de Timo" at SAP Center on Saturday.

Sharks forward Timo Meier scored his fourth goal of the season on "Los Tiburones Night," as the team broadcast the game against the New York Islanders in Spanish on a night honoring Hispanic heritage. Jesus Zarate was on the call, and it was a memorable one.

Zarate, who currently works as the 49ers' Spanish play-by-play broadcaster, called the game alongside color analyst Amaury Pi-Gonzalez. Pi-Gonzalez has broadcast games in Spanish for four MLB teams, including the Oakland A's.

Joonas Donskoi and Brent Burns added goals in the second period, and Zarate's calls may have been even better than his first.

Logan Couture gave the Sharks a three-goal lead in the third period with his fifth goal of the season -- and his fourth in the last two games.

We didn't need much convincing the Sharks should have a full-time Spanish broadcast, but Saturday's goal calls only helped the argument.
