Newcastle-Chelsea live stream: Watch Premier League game online, on TV

While Chelsea (12-3-7) sits in fourth place in the Premier League table, it has been a while since the Blues have won back-to-back league matches.

Blues last won two straight league matches on Nov. 2 against Watford and Nov. 9 against Crystal Palace.

That drought could end Saturday as Chelsea visits Newcastle United (7-5-10) at St. James' Park. The Blues are coming off a 3-0 win over Burnley and can eclipse the 40-point mark with a win or draw.

Newcastle, in 13th place, are looking to end their four-match winless streak in the Premier League. The Magpies' last league win came on Dec. 21 against Crystal Palace.

Be on alert for boo-birds at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

Arsenal (6-13-6; 31 points) have drawn four straight Premier League matches under manager Mikel Arteta. Squint hard enough and the Gunners have a path to the UEFA Champions League, but they need to start winning matches and Arsenal supporters might not be patient with more dropped points Sunday against Newcastle United (8-7-10; 31 points).

The 12th-placed Magpies are only behind the Gunners on goal difference, but Steve Bruce's squad selection could draw jeers from the opposing supporters section. Newcastle trotted out three one-time Tottenham Hotspur players in their last match before the winter break (loanee Danny Rose and former Spurs Nabil Bentaleb and DeAndre Yedlin), and conceivably could do so again.

Rose famously scored a stunner on his Premier League debut against Arsenal a decade ago, and his new club will hope old habits die hard Sunday.

Tottenham Hotspur (10-7-8; 37 points) and Aston Villa's (7-4-14; 25 points) last match with one another feels like a lifetime ago.

That's not because of the Premier League's winter break, mind you, but because of all that has changed in North London ahead of Sunday's rematch at Villa Park. Mauricio Pochettino no longer roams the Spurs dugout as he did in Tottenham's 3-1 comeback win on Aug. 10. He has since been replaced by the outspoken -- and newly-bald  -- José Mourinho.

Mourinho has the Lilywhites within striking distance of UEFA Champions League qualification, whether or not Manchester City end up being barred from the competition for financial fair play violations.

Villa led Tottenham 1-0 for most of their August meeting but now find themselves in a relegation scrap. The Villans could jump from 17th to 15th with a win at home, creating a four-point cushion between them and the relegation zone. The good news for Villa? Mourinho's new club have only won two away matches in all competitions since he took the reigns and none since the start of 2020.

Spurs could get caught looking ahead to bigger fixtures, too, with a Champions League match against RB Leipzig set for Wednesday and a trip to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge next Saturday.
