Second-place Manchester City (23-15-3; 48 points) are, barring a historic collapse from Premier League-leading Liverpool, going to end a season outside of first place for the first time since 2017.
The Sky Blues fell 16 points behind the Reds thanks to Sunday's 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace, but a nine-point advantage of fourth-place Chelsea means City are in no real danger of falling out of a UEFA Champions League place. Manager Pep Guardiola won't wave the white flag, however, telling reporters this week that his side's league form is vital to their hopes of winning the Carabao and FA Cups, as well as the Champions League.
Sheffield United (8-9-6; 33 points), meanwhile, are within range of the European places in their first season in the Premier League. The Blades have acquitted themselves well against the league's best, but a result against Manchester City arguably would be Sheffield United's most impressive of the season. They lost 2-0 to City during the festive period, but the Blades surely will be better at Bramall Lane.

If Arsenal (7-13-6; 34 points) or Everton (10-6-10; 36 points) are going to take advantage of Manchester City's looming UEFA Champions League ban, they'll have to start Sunday.
The Gunners and Toffees square off at the Emirates then, and new managers Mikel Arteta and Carlo Ancelotti are unbeaten in their last five matches. They're six and four points back, respectively, of fifth-place Tottenham Hotspur thanks to Spurs' loss to Chelsea on Saturday, and the 11 remaining matches after Sunday represent more than enough time to make up that ground.
Fifth place, should City remain banned, will be enough to qualify for Europe's top competition next season. Sunday's game in North London could be a defining result in that race.

A lot can change with a big win and a UEFA ruling.
Manchester United (10-8-8; 38 points) are living proof, as the seventh-place Red Devils can move within three points of a UEFA Champions League place -- and into one, assuming Manchester City's ban from European competition is upheld -- with a win over 19th-place Watford (5-9-12; 24 points) on Sunday at Old Trafford. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side had gone winless in their last three Premier League matches before beating Chelsea last week, and the Champions League looks like a real possibility after Tottenham Hotspur's loss Saturday.
Watford, on the other hand, can move out of the relegation zone with a result. The bad news? The Hornets haven't taken points in a league game against the Red Devils since 1986.
