The Premier League's first set of matches in the restarted season had everything.
A rare, controversial malfunction of goal-line technology robbed Sheffield United of an obvious goal against Aston Villa in the first game of the day. Hours later, two howlers by none other than Arsenal defender David Luiz gifted Manchester City two goals -- and the first of Project Restart -- in the defending champions' 3-0 win at Etihad Stadium.
Luiz failed to clear a pass, and the ball deflected off of him and into the path of Sterling for an easy finish as City took a 1-0 lead just before halftime.

It got worse for Arsenal in the second half. Luiz was sent off in the 50th minute after conceding a penalty, and Kevin De Bruyne doubled City's advantage from the spot.
The Brazilian defender is no stranger to a costly defensive mistake, but Luiz's latest gaffe comes a week after some social-media trolling at his expense. Luiz was stripped of the ball in a closed-door friendly against Championship side Brentford last week, and Brentford scored on the ensuing attack.
Arsenal lost the friendly, 3-2.
To add injury to insult, Luiz did not start Wednesday's match. The 33-year-old substituted on for an injured Pablo Mari in the 24th minute, getting dropped to the bench amid reports he could leave the club this summer when his contract expires.
Something tells me Arsenal supporters won't be too heartbroken if he does.
