Joe Burrow knows 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa and his brand of trash-talk all too well.
The two were teammates at Ohio State before Burrow transferred to LSU and began his meteoric rise from potential Day 3 draft pick to Heisman Trophy winner, national champion and presumptive No. 1 overall pick by the Cincinnati Bengals in Thursday's 2020 NFL Draft.
In an Instagram interview with Bleacher Report's Taylor Rooks, Burrow named Bosa as the player he's most looking forward to trash-talking in the NFL.
"Hopefully, I'm playing well enough that I'm allowed to talk trash," Burrow said. "It would have to be one of my friends so I don't cause a stir.
“Nick Bosa, I’ll talk some trash to Nick,” Burrow said. “Because his trash talk is super weird. Like he’ll say something like, ‘Oh you gotta throw the ball away on that one buddy,’ or something like that when he sacks you. It’s super weird.”
Kind of a cop-out from one of the NFL's next stars.
Bosa's trash-talking style was on full display during his rookie season when the 49ers destroyed the Cleveland Browns. After the game, Bosa admitted he was "jawing" at Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield while tormenting him.
That could use a little work.

Unfortunately for Burrow and Bosa, the Bengals and 49ers aren't slated to see each other during the 2020 season.
So unless Burrow leads the rebuilding Bengals on a magical Super Bowl run where Bosa and the 49ers are waiting, the friendly trash talk will have to be saved for another day.
