Racing fans were hoping to watch the 2020 Indianapolis 500 on Sunday.
But due to the global coronavirus pandemic, the 104th running of the race has been postponed until Aug. 23.
Don't worry, though. NBC has you covered with a special re-airing of the 2019 Indianapolis 500 with added features.
NBC Sports' Mike Tirico will host "Indy 500 Special: Back Home Again" on Sunday. The program will feature fresh commentary and special interviews with 2019 Indy 500 winner Simon Pagenaud and runner-up Alexander Rossi.
Here's how you can watch "Indy 500 Special: Back Home Again" online and on TV:
When: Sunday, May 24, 2020 at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT
The month of May has been kind to Team Penske driver Simon Pagenaud.
Two weeks after winning the IndyCar Grand Prix, the 35-year-old from France won his first career Indianapolis 500 on Sunday.
Pagenaud, who celebrated his birthday on May 18, beat out Alexander Rossi to capture the checked flag.
With one-and-a-quarter laps to go, Pagenaud passed Rossi for the lead and never gave it back.
Here's the thrilling finish, which was broadcast on NBC for the first time:
Will Power, the defending Indy 500 champion, finished fifth.
Pagenaud was so excited after his win that he dumped the entire bottle of milk over his head. When he tried to take a sip, there was nothing left.
Shortly after his big win, Pagenaud tweeted about the accomplishment, saying "Dreams do come true."
Pagenaud and his team capped off the memorable day by kissing the bricks. Must have been sweet.
