2019 NBA Draft live stream: Start time, channel to watch all 60 picks

The NBA Finals are over, and it's already time for the draft.

The 2019 NBA Draft takes place Thursday night at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., in what will be a critical night for all 30 teams in the league. The draft presents the best method to add young, cheap talent, and that's something every squad could use.

The Warriors are no exception. Fully expected to offer both Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson max contracts in free agency, it's imperative that the Dubs fill out their roster with cheap options who can grow within their system. Golden State holds the Nos. 28, 41 and 58 overall selections in the draft, and with so many holes on their roster, it's likely the Warriors will go with the best player available at each spot.

Sacramento has three selections in the draft -- Nos. 40, 47 and 60 overall, all in the second round. After finishing just short of the playoffs, the Kings are counting on the prospects they acquire in the draft to help push them over the top and secure the franchise's first postseason berth since 2006. With three second-round selections, it wouldn't be a surprise to see the Kings package some or all of them together in order to move up in the order.

The New Orleans Pelicans hold the first overall selection in the draft, and it's all but guaranteed they'll select Duke star Zion Williamson. The Memphis Grizzlies hold the second overall selection and widely are expected to take Murray State guard Ja Morant.

Warriors vs. Lakers live stream: How to watch NBA preseason game

It seems like we’ve been here before.

The Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers will match up for the third time this preseason Wednesday night in Los Angeles.

The two clubs played just two days ago at Staples Center, with the Lakers coming out on top with a 104-98 win.

Steph Curry will not play in the penultimate preseason game for Golden State, and forward Omari Spellman also will sit after a tweaked back suffered in Monday night’s loss.

Anthony Davis, who missed Monday’s game, is expected to suit up for Los Angeles.

Steve Kerr jokes with Klay Thompson about redshirt year with Warriors

Steve Kerr jokes with Klay Thompson about redshirt year with Warriors

Now this is the kind of content you are here for.

Steve Kerr spoke to reporters after shootaround Wednesday morning. And as he saw guard Klay Thompson walking nearby, the Warriors coach busted out the jokes.

"Klay, we don't really need at all," Kerr said.

After Thompson responded with "redshirt season," Kerr seized the opportunity to roast the two-time All-NBA selection.

"We're redshirting him, trying to get him bigger and stronger. Get him used to campus life. Academically, he's got a ways to go ..."

Klay is rehabbing his torn left ACL, and will be sidelined until at least the All-Star break.

It's possible that the five-time All-Star misses the whole season, hence the "redshirt" reference.

But the Warriors sure hope that doesn't become the reality and Klay is able to come back at the end of the regular season for a playoff push.
