Game 2 of the NBA Finals was a tale of two halves for Warriors forward Andre Iguodala:

  • First half = zero points (0-for-1 FG), one rebound, three assists, one turnover.
  • Second half = eight points (3-for-7 FG), seven rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block, one turnover.

He also did this:

And after Golden State's thrilling 109-104 win, he described his dagger 3-pointer in the most Andre way possible.

“Shoot the ball, it went in,” he told Ethan Strauss of The Athletic. “When you make too much out of things, that’s when you start to feel pressure. But when you do things the right way, just know that, shoot when you supposed to shoot, pass when you supposed to pass, rebound when you supposed to rebound.

"Things happen in your favor. It’s just the karmic ways of the game.”

So he wasn't nervous when he caught the pass from Shaun Livingston and decided to let it fly?

“Not during the game,” Iguodala said.“Never during the game. Before the game, overthinking. Like the whole day of the game, anxiety. Once the game starts it’s easy. The game easy.

"Just do the right thing. That’s easy.”

Clearly, playing basketball on the world's biggest stage is easy. Obviously, anybody can win Finals MVP, right?
