Kevin Durant wasn't the only Warrior to go down with an injury Monday night.
As the team willed its way to a season-saving 106-105 win over the Toronto Raptors in Game 5 of the NBA Finals, Golden State continued to be bit by the injury bug. Durant injured his right Achilles tendon in the second quarter, and big man Kevon Looney also exited early.
Looney aggravated the same chest injury that forced him to miss Game 3 of the best-of-seven series. He was in clear pain throughout the game, and it took a teammate to finally get him off the court.

"Kevon couldn't play tonight," Warriors forward Andre Iguodala told reporters after the win. "I had to tell him, 'Don't play anymore.' "
The 23-year-old somehow managed to play 18 minutes off the bench. He scored four points, grabbed three rebounds and was plus-4 on the night.
Iguodala went on to highlight the Warriors' brotherhood and how they have been able to rally despite injuries so often in the playoffs. Whether it's an injury to Iguodala, Durant, Looney, DeMarcus Cousins or even Steph Curry, Golden State has stayed alive.
"People have no clue what goes into that and how we feel about each other," Iguodala said. "What we've been able to accomplish with what's been thrown at us -- and it's so negative -- that's actually strengthened us."

Looney originally was injured in the Warriors' Game 2 win last week. He initially was ruled out for the remainder of The Finals, but he fought his way back into the lineup for Game 4 and beyond.
Despite aggravating his injury, Looney told reporters he expects to play in Game 6 on Thursday night at Oracle Arena.
