To return or not to return? That is the question Warriors fans have for free agent forward and 2015 NBA Finals MVP Andre Iguodala.
But, it's not just fans wondering if the 38-year-old Iguodala will return: Warriors owner Joe Lacob has been thinking about it as well.
"So are you coming back next year?" Lacob jokingly asked Iguodala on the most recent episode of Point Foward, a podcast the NBA veteran hosts alongside former NBA swingman Evan Turner.

"Y'all want me to come back?" Iguodala retorted back to Lacob.

Turner then jokingly stated that Iguodala wants "$28 million" to return to the Warriors, prompting to Lacob reply that he is not getting that. Although he did not answer the question, Iguodala didn't say he was retiring either, potentially adding more fuel to the rumor fire that Iguodala could return for one more season.
After helping the Warriors win their fourth championship in eight years, Iguodala became a free agent at the conclusion of the season. If the Warriors do decide to bring him back, Iguodala could play a mentor role in the locker room in their quest to repeat, similar to what Udonis Haslem has been doing the last few seasons for the Miami Heat.
Golden State Warriors
Should Iguodala retire, he will be remembered as one of the best Warriors to suit up for the team in the last decade.
Although his counting stats haven't been as gaudy with the Warriors compared to when he was with the Philadelphia 76ers and Denver Nuggets, his leadership, willingness to come off the bench and unmatched defensive intensity were what endeared him to a fanbase desperately looking for a change. He will surely have his number retired when the time comes, along with Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green (when they decide to hang up their sneakers).
Until Iguodala makes his decision on whether he will return or not, Warriors fans will wait with bated breath for that moment.
