In the first three games of the Warriors' second-round NBA playoff series against the Rockets, Steph Curry averaged 18.3 points while shooting 35 percent overall and 25 percent from 3-point territory.

In Game 4, the two-time NBA MVP registered 30 points and eight assists, and went 12-for-25 from the field. The one blemish, however, was his 4-for-14 mark from beyond the arc.

"I have no doubt Steph Curry is about to bounce back," Warriors big man Andrew Bogut wrote for Yahoo Sport Australia. "We’ve seen this plenty of times from Steph where he has a couple of bad games in a row, but all it takes is one breakthrough game for people to remember who he is.

"In all the games where he’s accused of being horrible, he still makes huge shots."

Bogut's last point is correct and here are some recent examples:
1) In Game 3 of the 2018 NBA Finals against the Cavs, Curry went 3-for-16 from the field. But he made a cutting layup to give the Dubs a one-point lead with 2:58 left and then hit his only 3-pointer to put the Warriors ahead 101-97 with 2:38 to go.
2) In Game 1 of the current series against Houston, Curry scored 18 points and went 3-for-10 from distance. But his 3-pointer with 25.9 seconds remaining gave Golden State a five-point edge.
3) In Game 2 of this series, Curry made just 3 of 13 from 3-point range. But his triple at the 6:31 mark of the fourth quarter gave the Warriors at 96-90 lead and sparked a 9-0 run to seal the game.

His performance on Monday night could already be considered a "bounceback" night. But it's safe to assume Bogut is referring to Curry's 3-point shooting specifically.

"He hasn’t shot the ball as well as he usually does, but we have no concerns about him," Bogut added.

But if the Warriors drop Game 5 and fall behind 3-2, you better believe the concern level in the Bay Area will be extremely high.
